I’ve been seeing a lot of new practitioners saying they’re sleeping with Goetic infernals. Completely making their relationship into a WatPad fantasy. I don’t get it and when I disagree they say I’m overly tight and I won’t grow in my practice LOL. Like what? Last time I check succubus and incubus exist and so do trickers/ mimics. Sexualizing the infernals is beyond disrespectful to me. Thoughts? Am I wrong? Or is this new generation just lacking a lot?

I’m just curious, most of us are doing “the great work”, contacting and commanding spirits and other insane things, I’m sure for those of us with spouses we have found a work around or they have accepted us for who we are.

For those of us with children though, I wonder what the residual effects of what we do might be and you can’t say “there is none”, having a mother or father in ritual clothing doing the LBRP and the Rose Cross daily isn’t a……..typical childhood if we can put it that way

So many people claim to be ascendant masters, have made full contact with the HGA etc and while that’s a great thing to accomplish, I also think the children you raise and the lives they live are also a reflection of the work.

Especially those with older kids, because babies and younger children haven’t manifested into their reincarnation fully.

Looking for a good beginners book list for getting familiar with magick, hermetic, and esoteric concepts and build a foundational understanding. Some that were suggested were The Kybalion, Liber IX, Condensed Chaos, Arcane Teachings/Formulas, and Key of Solomon.

Can anyone suggest a good reading order, or to add/remove from that list? Like, if you could go back and start reading on these topics for the first time, what would you have wanted as your comprehensive reading list?

hello all! first time poster here and i just had this random thought as i looked at my altar. now to my understanding certain practices should be kept away from reflective surfaces, namely a mirror; if this is the case i see many practicing on social media and posting photos and full details of their workings and i just think?? is a camera not a high technological mirror? wouldn't the same principle apply then? don't get me wrong i've heard the sentiment before to be wary of sharing such things yet it seems to be the most visual way for some people to learn the craft on the latter manipulation of energy blah blah lol does this make sense friends? So step 1 part 1 is thought control it says to remember your thoughts does it imply I need to write them down? Or do I just try to remember them in general. One thing I find interesting about Newar Vajrayana Buddhism in Nepal is that tantric practice is not treated as a loose collection of rituals. It is organized into different classes that place different emphasis on ritual, meditation, visualization and inner transformation.

In simple terms, Kriya places greater emphasis on external ritual such as purification, offerings, mantra, mudra and puja. Charya begins to bring ritual and inner practice closer together, so conduct, discipline and meditation become more important alongside ceremony. Yoga Tantra moves further toward visualization, deity practice and identification with the mandala, where the practitioner is not only worshipping an enlightened figure externally but beginning to work with that symbolism internally. Anuttarayoga goes deeper into restricted practices that normally require initiation, including advanced deity yoga and other meditative methods that are not generally taught publicly.

This is especially interesting in Nepal because the public may see a Buddhist Tantric Priest performing a puja in a monastery, but that visible ceremony can be only one layer of a much larger tantric system. Newar Vajrayana has preserved traditions connected with deities such as Cakrasaṃvara, Vajravārāhī, Hevajra and Guhyasamāja, while many of the deeper practices remain within initiated lineages.

I read all over the internet that the abramelin rituals aren’t the only method for contacting the HGA. That there are pagan paths, and many other ritual approaches to HGA contact. Note I say contact, so I don’t mean only people who have achieved K&C.

This is a question for anyone who has contacted their HGA (including those who followed the abramelin ritual). How did you do it? How long did it take you? Do you think based on your experience, there would have been a smoother or easier way to do it than what you did?

I’m looking to get started with attempting to contact my HGA, and I don’t have the time or resources to commit to the abramelin approach. I have a mortgage, bills, a full time job, a side business I’m trying to get off the ground and social commitments (which are always the first to reduce when I commit to something big). I can’t lose my home or my job, those are the two things that give me the stability required to even consider performing complex ritual magick. Advice and your stories would be greatly appreciated.
